LIQNFT is a launchpad and marketplace for fractionalized and serialized NFTs on Solana. We aim to be the most accessible and efficient NFT marketplace for anyone to gain exposure and to own some of the world’s rarest and most sought after NFTs.
With widespread adoption and mainstream acceptance of virtual assets and cryptocurrencies, the blockchain industry as a whole has witnessed unparalleled growth and popularity in recent years. Increasing demand for crypto assets across the board has driven prices of many blue-chip tokens and alt-coins alike to all time highs month after month. Among the many segments of the rapidly growing crypto industry, the Non-Fungible Token or the NFT space has stood out in particularly due to its unique application of the blockchain technology as well as the unmatched momentum and growth behind it — the NFT space is fast becoming one of the primary battlegrounds for blockchain companies today.
However, being a victim of its own success, as demand for NFTs continue to increase and prices skyrocket, it is also fast becoming out of reach and inaccessible to the general public. With buyers struggling to keep up with NFT’s explosive prices, many are no longer able to or willing to enter the NFT market anymore. As the gap between buyers and sellers widens, market illiquidity and inefficiency begins to emerge across NFT markets.
It was upon seeing the widespread problems in today’s NFT markets that we decided to create a more efficient and accessible alternative to existing options. We use fractionalization and serialization to liberalize the NFT market and to transform the otherwise illiquid and expensive NFT into fractions and series that are much more affordable and liquid.
